Knar Bedian is the founder of local music publication Sound of Boston, and a freelance writer who has been published in NPR, Gizmodo, Wired Magazine. She has written articles in Armenian, English and Spanish for The Armenian Weekly, Diario Armenia and the Hairenik Weekly newspapers. In her recent pieces, she reveals the unexpected connection between traditional Armenian and Mexican pottery methods and highlights the work of Boston’s LGBTQ+ artists in building a more inclusive music scene.
