Kat Zagaria Buckley

Kat Zagaria Buckley is a writer and curator based in Portland, Maine. She is the Director of Art Exhibitions and Outreach at the University of Southern Maine, where she oversees gallery programming and a community-oriented artist residency. She holds a Masters of Modern and Contemporary Art History, Theory, and Criticism from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and has held positions at the Barnes Foundation, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the John Michael Kohler Arts Center. Her curated exhibitions and writings focus on materiality and interdisciplinary manifestations.
